৪৫ বছর পরেও উত্তমকুমারের প্রতি মানুষের ভালবাসা অটুট থাকলেও নষ্ট হয়ে গেছে তাঁর বহু কালজয়ী ছবি

এই প্রজন্মের এমন কিছু সিনেমাপ্রেমী ছেলেমেয়ে আছে যারা রীতিমত অনুসন্ধিৎসু মন নিয়ে উত্তমকুমারের ছবি দেখে।
আবার সেই প্রজন্ম যারা তাদের কৈশোর আসার আগেই উত্তমকুমারের শেষ যাত্রার ভিড় দিয়ে তাঁকে চিনেছে, যারা উত্তমকুমারকে দেখতে দেখতে বড় হয়নি, বড় হতে হতে উত্তমকুমারকে চিনেছে, সেই প্রজন্মের কাছে উত্তমকুমার এক চিরন্তন আফসোস। এরা তবু বড় পর্দায় উত্তম ম্যাজিক দেখার সুযোগ পেয়েছে। কারণ '৮০-'৯০ সালের মধ্যে উত্তমকুমারের বেশ কিছু ছবি হলে এসেছে। কিন্তু একালের ছেলেমেয়েদের সম্বল তো কিছু OTT channel বা youtube। তাও অধিকাংশ ছবির অত্যন্ত খারাপ প্রিন্ট, দৈর্ঘ্য কম।
