Donkey Kong Country: Level 2: Ropey Rampage

Описание: Another jungle level in the Kongo Jungle. This one takes place in a stormy night.

Sometimes, you have to risk a fall if you wanna reach a bonus room. In this level, you have to do that twice. Once bonus level has you grab ropes to get across, while the other one has you carefully pick a barrel that a 1-UP Balloon will be in out of four.

Those armadillo enemies are called Army. They're easier to kill if you jump on them as Donkey Kong.

Those thorny wasps are called Zingers. They are mostly invincible unless you hit them with a barrel. No, shooting yourself out of a barrel cannon won't work, and the game will often make you carefully time your blasts so that you don't hit a Zinger in the process.

You will sometimes encounter dark patches on the ground. You can unroot these patches if you fall onto them from a great height. They'll usually give you something useful once you do.

As stormy as this level is, it will subside right before you finish the level.

Cranky Kong always dabbles in long-winded rants of how the games of today just aren't what they used to be back in his prime. Yes, he is very aware that he, himself, is in a video game!

However, if you manage to withstand Cranky's ruby-tinted rants, he'll drop some advice or two about things like beating certain enemies or finding secrets in certain levels. You can talk to him as many times as you want. His house manages to show up at every area in the game.
