The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has approved extending the land acquisition limit beyond 217 sq km in Amaravati, paving the way for large-scale infrastructure projects within the Amaravati limits. It has been informed that the government is considering land acquisition procedures, and consultations are being held with farmers through Gram Sabhas.

Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Ponguru Narayana provided this information after a review meeting with CM Naidu. Key decisions were announced at the 48th CRDA meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu at the State Secretariat. During the meeting, tenders for the construction of five administrative towers, with a total cost of ₹3,673 crore, were finalized.
