Stalking Double Isolated Pawns in the 3...Qa5 Scandinavian | Climbing the Rating Ladder vs. 2350

Описание: In this continuation of the "Climbing the Rating Ladder" series I take on players of various ratings levels while pointing out typical mistakes and spots for improvement along the way (possibly my own!? :)). Here I commentate a 10+0 game against a player rated 2350 on Chess.com. For the past 8+ months I've been working on a course on the 3...Qa5 Scandinavian that I'll be self-releasing in a couple months (details forthcoming!), and this game (like the previous CTRL game:    • Don't Fear a Discovered Attack in the 3......  ) provides a good opportunity to test the repertoire and discuss some move orders and ideas. Here, my opponent chooses a Stockfish-approved line with the early knight jump 6.Ne5, but after 6...c6, they spurn the most theoretically critical 7.Bc4 in favor of 7.Bd3, offering a simple bishop swap. A few moves later, my opponent shocks me by voluntarily taking on double isolated pawns!
