The Wunderlust Travelers had a great opportunity to visit Tenerife, Spain in the Canary Islands during January 2022. The weather was perfect for my DJI Air 2S drone and the sites along the coast of this beautiful island were fantastic to explore. There were several coastal towns that are worth visiting and we have highlighted the town of Garachico that's on the North Coast.
The church featured here is called Parroquia de Santa Ana according to Google Maps. According to wiki, The Church of Santa Ana is the main church in Garachico, Tenerife. It is located next to the Plaza de la Libertad. Originally constructed around 1520, it was rebuilt after the volcanic eruption of 1706.
The Eruption of Trevejo (1706) severely affected the church, after which it was rebuilt between 1714 and 1721, with new walls and roofs, following the original plans. It's nice to see, even from the ground, and is a must-visit when you stop by Garachico.
