Join us as we spend the day in Cairo exploring the city and eating street food.

Cairo was NOTHING like we expected! 😱 Our family adventure through Egypt’s capital took some wild, unexpected turns as we explored hidden alleyways, chaotic markets, and ancient wonders—and what we discovered left us shocked!

We started our journey in Islamic Cairo, wandering through its breathtaking mosques, historic alleyways, and centuries-old madrasas. The rich history and incredible architecture were beyond anything we imagined. Then, we stepped into Coptic Cairo, where ancient churches, underground hideouts, and hidden relics told stories of a time long past.

But then things got intense. We ventured deep into Cairo’s Garbage City, a place unlike anywhere else on Earth. What we saw here was both heartbreaking and unbelievable—an entire community built around recycling, surviving in a way that’s hard to describe.

Next, we threw ourselves into the pure mayhem of Attaba Market, one of Cairo’s busiest and most overwhelming shopping districts. The crowds, the noise, the non-stop action—it was absolute madness! We barely made it out in one piece!

Finally, we made our way to the world-famous Egyptian Museum, home to King Tut’s treasures, ancient mummies, and mind-blowing artifacts. Walking through thousands of years of history left us completely awestruck.

But here’s the thing—what we saw behind the scenes in Cairo changed the way we see this city forever. This adventure was raw, real, and unlike any trip we’ve ever taken!
