So after alot of testing, and failing to get this locomotive to run on the powered track i decided to try battery converting this locomotive... and for whatever reason it absolutely loves it. so this is my big result from testing and trying different things... Even the train shop was at a loss on what was wrong with it. And truthfully, I was about to give up on this locomotive entirely and just chalk it up as a display piece... but its running again and I couldn't be happier to have it back in the fleet. lots of videos still to come with this locomotive and glad to have its return when it did.
We've had some storms over the last week that have brought down some tree limbs in the yard... so I took some of the smaller stuff and set it aside for the train to haul away. I grabbed just a bit too much to try to do in one load, yes I could have returned for multiple loads but it got rather cold and I wasn't trying to be out there all day to make this video.
