First Ride of the Year on the Essex County Turtle Back Zoo Train

This ended up being the last train for the day! Here, our engineer-in-training takes us on the latest version of the new route. While everything mainly remains the same, the station queue has been updated and the platform was completely redone. This will certainly help us with improving flow of traffic, especially with the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
For this ride, we ride on board the blue train, powered by C.P Huntington 306. You will also notice the red train and the two inactive locomotives in the Errington Tool Depot. On this day, C.P. Huntington 199 was attached to the red train as it was intended to run in place of C.P. Huntington 382, which started to experience issues during the afternoon. However, 199 never ran, due to further problems closing down the railroad for a good amount time. Only 306 and the blue train ran upon reopening.
Other than that, this is a pretty standard ride on the one and only Essex County Turtle Back Zoo Tailroad, as brought to you by Investors Bank since 2019. I hope you enjoy this virtual ride! Sorry if certain parts feel blurry as this was shot mostly through a plexiglass wall to protect passengers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
