How to design and deliver a save system for an open-world crafting and survival game in Unreal Engine 5 with World Partition with no C++. Based on his experience as a lead programmer of our upcoming Cowboy Life Simulator game, The speaker will go through key concepts that allowed us to save: story progression, buildings in different stages of construction, storages, crafting quees, NPCs and animals with World Partition constantly loading and unloading parts of the map. He will also share lots of ready-to-use tricks he learned in the process.
