Here is our next lesson about the basic introduction to one of the most beautiful afternoon raag - Raag Bhimpalasi. Hope the beginner students of Indian classical music will find it useful.
Raga Bhimpalasi is a captivating and evocative Hindustani classical raga.
Bhimpalasi belongs to the Kafi Thaat and is typically performed during the late afternoon or early evening, from 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
Aaroh (ascending): Ṉ̣ S G̱ M P Ṉ Ṡ
Avaroha (descending): Ṡ Ṉ D P M G̱ R S
Komal Ni and Ga are prominent.
The resulting jāti is Audav–Sampūrṇa (5 notes ascending, 7 notes descending).
