This video is about the not-so-usual fish. This is called porcupine fish or Tagotongan. Linarang is the best recipe for this fish that offers authentic taste of Filipino cuisine.
Ingredients vary per recipe, but the basic ones are coconut milk, garlic, onion, lemon grass, chillies and lots of tomatoes which will serve as souring agent.
Please note that porcupine fish is different from pufferfish (which is widely known to be poisounous and lethal).
This fish is incredibly tender and flavourful. You should try it, too!
