New client found us online and wanted her travertine floor cleaned and restored. They had another company clean it and color seal the grout. They also use topical sealer to make it more shiny. This bad for your stone and it also attracts scuff marks and makes it dirty faster. We had to strip the topical sealer and then clean. We then did 220 grid hone to remove scratches and etch marks. Local areas had to work on more as it had deeper scratches. We then did 400, 800 and 1500 grid to finish it with the original gloss. The client did not want it higher than that.
