The Braxtons | The Curse

Описание: The Braxtons are an American R&B musical group composed of sisters Toni, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar Braxton. Their story has been documented through their reality television shows, Braxton Family Values (2011–2020) and the newer series, The Braxtons, which premiered in 2024. The family's journey has been marked by both shared successes and interpersonal conflicts, and it is still ongoing.

Early years: The five Braxton sisters—Toni, Traci, Towanda, Trina, and Tamar—signed with Arista Records in 1989. In 1990, they released their first single, "Good Life," which had limited commercial success and led to the group being dropped from the label.
Toni's solo career: After a showcase in 1991, Toni Braxton was signed as a solo artist by producers L.A. Reid and Babyface for their new label, LaFace Records. Her instant solo success eclipsed the group's opportunities.
Later efforts: The remaining sisters continued as a trio (Tamar, Trina, and Towanda) after Traci left due to pregnancy. They released their only LP, So Many Ways, in 1996. The group disbanded after Tamar left to pursue her own solo career in 1999.
