Описание: California or Arizona fan palm also known as Washingtonia Filifera is not native to my region but can grow here. It likes areas with more moisture and less cold. Moisture is something we can provide the warmth is harder to replicate. The first few years white a palm tree gets established it should be protected from the cold. I used a basic blue trap wrapped around with rocks to hold it down. The rocks will warm up in the heat of the day and release that warmth overnight. The tarp keeps frost, moisture, and some warmth to the trunk. This tree still has a green heart (center growing point) so will hopefully make it through the winter.
