Health matters for one Central Arkansas family.
Whose little girl is seeing some life-changing results, after spending most of her short life with a painful medical condition.
But her new treatment isn't coming from a doctor's office.
"How does that feel? Good! I think you wore too much lip gloss."
For the first time, mother, daughter bath time is actually fun for six year old Emily and her mom, Mary.
"It makes me feel more normal. You see how you don't have eczema, it makes me feel like I don't have eczema, explained Emily."
Since two-years-old, Emily has suffered from a skin disorder that causes an itchy rash and could also lead to oozing blisters.
Emily's old treatment, a steroid cream used six times a day, including at school, at night...
"She would bathe in a bleach bath, said her mom."
Her symptoms almost unbearable.
"Stressful and nobody in the family gets a whole lot of sleep, said her mom."
But now Emily is getting relief, not at home, but at Falk plumbing in North Little Rock.
They have a bath tub equipped with a new treatment called Microsilk, when the company heard about Emily's condition, they allowed her to come everyday after school and sit in the tub.
"It matters to us for her quality of life. It's changed the whole family's quality of life and until they are actually able to purchase this tub and have it in their home, we want them to gain the benefits of that, Faulk Store Manager, Sandy Moorehead."
The benefits are billions of tiny bubbles loaded with oxygen, that clean the skin in a way proven to help with aging, muscle tension and now eczema.
It was created by Jason, a jacuzzi company in North Little Rock.
"We've got women from California to Maine excited about it, because it's a beauty product first and foremost, said Ron Kelley, Jason Regional Sales Manager."
Now Emily's eczema, is nearly gone, thanks to the Microsilk tub.
"My next step is to figure out which size tub we are getting, we do want to go forward in purchasing this, just for her quality of life, said Emily's mom."
The reporter had a few thins mixed up. So to clarify; Jason International manufactures Baths in North Little Rock, Arkansas. However, their baths are available worldwide. The technology is so amazing for both its health AND beauty benefits. The anti-aging results are equally amazing. The Jacuzzi family (who invented the technology)produces this product but is NOT the same as the company people are familiar with that use the Jacuzzi name. "Jason" stands for JAcuzzi SON!
