In this talk, Yorgos reflects on Physical Lab’s ongoing research into presence and acting, with a particular focus on deconditioning and the discovery of each actor’s unique essence. He shares a recent shift in his practice: consciously stepping back during workshops to create space for actors to encounter their own blocks, questions, and potential.
This approach has led to deeply autonomous and transformative experiences, as actors move beyond dependence on external guidance and into independent research and creation. Drawing from recent workshops in Crete and Paris, Yorgos speaks about the impact of this work and the growing capacity of actors to trust their own process and embodied intelligence.
