鳥取県と中国河北省の友好のシンボルとして建設された国内最大級の中国庭園。東郷湖畔に中国の歴代皇帝が好んだ皇家園林方式を再現しています。本場中国の技師が設計し、中国産の材料を輸入して建設された本格的なもので、瑠璃色の瓦や柱や天井に施された色彩画が異国情緒を醸し出します。
One of Japan's largest Chinese gardens, built as a symbol of friendship between Tottori Prefecture and Hebei Province, China. Located on the shores of Lake Togo, it recreates the imperial garden style favored by successive Chinese emperors. Designed by a Chinese engineer and constructed using imported materials, it is a genuine Chinese garden, and the lapis lazuli roofing tiles and colorful paintings on the pillars and ceilings create an exotic atmosphere.
