With the NeoMill-T-Finish, MAPAL is presenting for the first time a milling cutter with indexable inserts for face milling of aluminium at high volumes.
The indexable inserts have up to four insertable cutting edges and the milling cutter can be configured in the diameter range from 50 to 315 mm. It achieves cutting speeds of up to 6,000 m/min and a feed rate of up to 2.5 mm per revolution.
The finish milling cutter functions according to the plug & play principle: the cutting edges can be changed directly on site without having to adjust them afterwards.
