 Mufti Tariq Masood is an Islamic Scholar based in Karachi, Pakistan.
He is widely known for his Urdu language religious lectures that are broadcast live and published on YouTube, Facebook, his own website, and smartphone app.
 His live and recorded lectures have a worldwide following particularly among youth. The lecture topics cover various religious, social and historic topics applied to contemporary issues in the society. The talks are typically embedded with quotes from the Quran and Hadith, analogies, humour, personal experiences, and scientific facts.
He is the Khateeb of Al-Falahiya Jamia Masjid at Sector #10, North Karachi, Pakistan. He has also been a teacher ("Mudarris") of the universal Islamic study course Dars-e-Nizami at Jamiatur Rasheed, Karachi, Pakistan. He is also affiliated with Darul Iftah where he answers religious questions and issues Fatwas (written edicts) on personal, family, and business issues submitted by people all over Pakistan and the world.
QUALIFICATION
He completed the basic Islamic study of Dars-e-Nizami under Mufti-e-Azam Pakistan, Mufti Rasheed Ahmed Ludhianwi (the school's founder) and also completed his higher Islamic studies at Jamiatur Rasheed.
He completed his Takhassus fil Fiqh under renowned Islamic scholar, Mufti Abu Lubaba. Mufti Tariq Masood also received spiritual guidance from Mufti Rasheed Ahmed Sahib.
CAMPAIGNS
Mufti Tariq Masood's lectures incorporate a wide range of issues of Islam and social concern. He especially emphasizes on observance of Allah’s commands, and the following of the teachings and the model of life as suggested by the Prophet Muhammad. He encourages the youth to eradicate the social evils like zina (fornication), immodest relationships by extensively speaking on marriage according to Islamic traditions.
 When there was a call in Pakistan for population control and family planning in late-2018, Mufti Tariq Masood refuted the claims of modernists/liberals by a series of talks on family planning.
TOURS
Mufti Tariq Masood regularly travels around the world delivering Islamic talks and calling the people towards Allah. Till date, he has delivered sermons in Thailand, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia,UAE, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.
He visited Turkey in late-2018 on an educational tour under the supervision of his teacher, Mufti Abu Lubaba.
BOOK
Mufti Tariq Masood has written a book by name "Aik se Za'id Shadiyoon ki Zaroorat Kyu", which deals with the issues regarding to the institution of marriage in the present day society.
