This is taken from my Ghost XL helmet-camera riding a 2025 Honda CRF300L on the December 2025 tour of Thailand Moto Tours with 9 other riders. Day 1 kicks off as a long-ish but incredibly fun opening day leaving the big city of Chiang Mai. Join me riding flowy double track mixed with some amazing supermoto-style roads that link the trails together. It’s the perfect way to get acclimated to our custom-built CRF300L’s, build confidence, and ease into riding as we push farther into the remote reaches of Thailand. We end the day in Mae Sariang, staying at a hotel overlooking a calm, flowing river—this is where the sights, sounds, and overall feel of Thailand really start to sink in. And the best part? The days only get exponentially better from here.
