The Genocide Education Project (“GenEd”) launched a series of free, 90-minute live webinars from October, 2024 to March, 2025 to support teachers as they incorporate genocide and particularly the Armenian Genocide (1915-1923) into their curriculum, as recommended in a numerous states' social studies curriculum standards.
The webinar series provides guidance on how to teach about genocide, including a focus on the historical background and specific and comparative aspects of the Armenian case, as well as offer free teaching resources with recommendations on how to use them in the classroom:

Webinar #1, "Teaching About Genocide and Historic Armenia," introduces teachers to the UN Convention on Genocide, the Ten Stages of Genocide, as well as fundamental aspects of Armenian history and culture. The session is led by GenEd Education Director Kerri Flynn, a 25-year veteran of the English and Social Studies classroom, who developed and taught a high school semester course on genocide.
