Brigo Det Insecticide commercial

Описание: Here is a wonderfully done TV Ad which is currently running on local Tv stations in Trinidad and Tobago at the time of this posting July-August 2014.The product is Det Insecticide Spary. It started circulating around the time the chikungunya virus was making its rounds in the Caribbean.The campaign did run during the 80's if i remember clearly. It features the calypsonian Mr. Samuel Abraham aka BRIGO!

In my opinion the Ad does not get as much credit as it deserves. it has a very catchy melody accompanied by an 'old time' calypso rhythm with a I V IV progression and a the message is clear "Is Det to all insect pest".Who would of believe hearing Death so many times in a jingle could be humorous more props to BRIGO I guess whom i assume wrote the lyrics.

CURIOSITIES:

One thing that has always 'Bugged' me (pun intended) is whether or not the Actors used the actual Spray during the takes, which I believe would be a health risk to those on the set with that amount of insecticide being used or if it was done with a C.G. spray as in digitally added in. if so BRAVO! to the Editors.
