Performance by Aco, Jules Dubbs, Lisa Rose Macchione, & Mimi Coelho to the song “Samai" by Al Turath Ensemble in Rachel Brice’s Phase III, 8 Elements™ Culmination Showcase at BodyVox Theater in Portland, Oregon on July, 18 2015.
The 8 Elements Culmination showcase featured participants in the third phase of Rachel Brice’s 8 Elements™ belly dance training program. Groups present a collaborative belly dance performance created during the intensive. Solos were optional, and created before the intensive began, or were improvised on the spot. Culmination, Phase III of the training, is an 8 day, 60+ hour intensive workshop focusing on composition and stage performance for belly dance.
