Highgate Golf Club Strategy Holes 1 to 5 - Course Management 101

Описание: This is quite a different video from usual, with far less golf and much more dry strategy chat.
This video provides quite an in depth look into how I think about strategy and course management in general for the first 5 holes of Highgate Golf Club as a +2 handicapper.
These holes are all quite technical, requiring accurate tee shots for positioning and approach shots into small greens.

By playing with proper strategy you naturally hit more greens in regulation, however this means that putting becomes the key contributor to scoring success.

I hope you find parts of this video interesting and give some ideas for your own course management. The basic concepts applied here can be transferred to any course in terms of tee and approach shot dispersion, and an analysis as to the best 'miss' on the approach shot.

Of course this is just my opinion as to how to optimise strategy for scoring, however I'm sure there are alternative views out there, and of course strategy should shift based on capabilities and carry yardages, however I believe the basic concepts remain the same.
