Before the new house on the 80sqm lot, there was this little $4,000 mini house in the province.
It survived typhoons.
It sustained our family for years.
And it changed how I think about minimal living, trust, and raising a child around extended family.
In this video, I show the original build and talk about what it was like sending money overseas while working, trusting the people around me to build, and why living collectively in the Philippines turned out to be a blessing.
