Welcome to "Tales from Tuscany"!
We are Marisa and David, Australian expats now living part-time in Chianni Tuscany.
During the Global Pandemic, we decided to buy our Italian dream home, sight unseen and with no prior knowledge of the area.
This is our journey and we are taking you along with us!

TODAY'S VLOG...

Today, my 3rd week in Chianni continues with more disappointments, disasters and a whole lot of stress! Not every week in Tuscany can be wonderful when you're settling in alone and job disasters strike!

I'm now very optimistic that things will improve immensely, now that I've let go of the "appalling" people who were meant to employ me and have put my faith into the good, genuine people of Toscana.

I'm finding out how wonderful life can truly be in Chianni and am discovering new delights of village life daily. I am also meeting "youtube" friends in real life and it is awesome!

Our "Buy me a coffee" patrons have been so kind and it is helping us immensely during this trying time. We are so, so grateful!

Please watch until the end, so that you can understand a little more clearly what has happened to me since my arrival.
