Sweet Potato Tikki | Tiffin Recipe | Weightloss Recipe | Healthy Recipe
Sweet Potato Oats Tikki recipe for weight loss:
Ingredients:
1large sweet potatoes, boiled and mashed
3tbsp oats powder/ oats flour
1medium size chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
1 chopped green chilli
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 lemon juice
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix mashed sweet potatoes, oats, onion, green chilli, coriander leaves, cumin powder, black pepper powder, salt, lemon juice, chaat masala and red chilli powder.
2. Divide the mixture into 6 portions and shape into tikkis.
3. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan and shallow fry the tikkis until golden brown.
4. Serve hot with chutney or yogurt (lactose-free yogurt for weight loss).
