Naga GG is almost 40 kms from the Dirang Town and it is inhabited by the Brokpas. Brokpas are semi- nomadic pastoral community of Monpa tribe. They are yak herder, stay in the high altitude pasture areas, and prepare churpi (Yak cheese) which is a very popular and vital ingredient for the Monpa Cuisine. Due to the climate change and development the age old tradition has come almost to the brink of extinction.
