The goal of the football shooting exercise is to practice finishing with the center after the previous ground combination for a limited number of touches. The finishing player wall-pass the ball with a pair of neutral players, after thefinished he goes around the other player and finishes with the first touch. After receiving the ball, the finishing player dribbles the ball into the shooting position and finishes the action with a shot.
Support players who engage in a combo and run to the other side after the action is over to engage in the next action.
The exercise is designed for 6-8 field players and 1-2 goalkeepers (U12-U17). The exercise is suitable for group training of forwards/strikers and offensive midfielders, with a focus on creating goal opportunities and finishing/shooting effectiveness.
