Peel tests are traditionally used to check the bond strength of adhesives on all types of smart cards, including credit cards. JLW's peel test equipment grips a sample horizontally on the test stand and measures the tensile force needed to peel away the laminates from a credit card or other smart cards. The resulting data is used to determine the bond strength of the individual laminate layers that make up the card.
