2 Years have passed since the end of Sin and the beginning of the Eternal Calm - known to all of Spira as Yuna's Calm, for her role in breaking the cycle of Death. But the more things change, the more they stay the same and though she has shifted careers from Summoner to Sphere Hunter, Yuna's aim is to find the truth of a mysterious sphere and, more specifically, the man in the sphere who looks just like "him".

Continuing our penchant for procrastination, the Gullwings return to Bikanel Desert, only to get roped into a diplomatic mission with the recently discovered Cactuar Nation. Through the interpretor Benzo, we learn that there is an impending threat that can only be thwarted through the assistance of the Ten Gatekeepers - yes: those Gatekeepers - and so we have to find where they're hiding.
