The power supply is the most common source of failure for HLG-550. Learn how to replace a power supply for Horticulture Lighting Group's HLG-550V2 and HLG-550 V1. A bad power supply could also cause the HLG-550 lamp to turn on/off and it may work fine when dimmed.
HLG-550 wiring color codes for Meanwell driver (AC side):
• Driver's brown +ve DC wire to Black lug
• Driver's Blue -ve DC wire to Silver lug
HLG-550 wiring color codes for Meanwell driver (AC side):
• Brown to Black
• Blue to White
• Green/Yellow to Green/Yellow
