I was kindly gifted the New Mela B3 & Anthelios routine from La Roche Posay in exchange for my honest review.

This routine aims to help correct & then protect your skin from UVA / UVB, dark spots, post acne marks & hyperpigmentation.

They are both suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin. They are also both recommended by dermatologists.

Some of the active ingredients are;
✨10% Niacinamide - helps with hyperpigmentation, also strengthens & protects the skins barrier.
✨5% HEPES - used to gently exfoliate.
✨Hyaluronic Acid - maintains skins hydration.
✨thermal spring water - soothes & refreshes the skin.
✨mexoryl 400 - UV filter that protects against extra long UVA

The key benifits using these in your daily routine are;

✨tinted SPF50 helps reduce the appearance of pigmentation.

Mela B3 -

The serum is a peachy pink in colour & has a very strong sweet scent.

I has a very light light silky texture & is super absorbent. It absorbs into the skin with in seconds, leaving no sticky/greasy reduce. I also works well with other products.

I’ve been using around 3 drops twice a day in my face and neck. Concentrating more on areas that I have uneven skin tone, post acne marks & sunspots.

Anthelios UVmune 400 -

This SPF protection is an ultra light weight runny fluid consistency. And a little goes a long way!

It's SPF 50+ so has very high protection! This formulae is also anti-eye stinging so can be applied around the eyes.

Before every use I give it a good shake.

I use this every morning after I've completed my daily skincare routine. I apply it before applying my make up. It absorbs almost instantly leaving no sticky or greasy residue. I find it leaves no white cast marks & as long as I don't use to much it doesn't cause any pilling when apply my makeup.

Another good thing is that It's fragrance free.

Since using this routine, I have seen a huge difference in the appearance of my sun spots & It has slightly improved my post acne marks.
I really love how quickly they both absorbs giving me a more even skin tone . My skin feels so soft, smooth & well hydrated since using I feel much more confidant that my skin is protected from further damage.

for me though the one thing that is really of putting is the scent of the Mela B3. it’s too over powering and just lingers for hours. I usually don’t mind scented products so this has really surprised me inthink it’s because it’s so sweet and lingers.

Overall both of these used together I feel more confident that my skin is protected from further damage whilst also reversing the damage. I will defiantly continue to use & purchase in the future as the results are visible.
