Here's a useful repeated pattern that is simple to make and works up really quickly. It looks lovely with a fringe and would make a great strap.
In this video, I use 3 mm, 3-ply cord. The pattern requires a total of 8 cords; length will depend on your application of the pattern.
Knots to know: You'll need to know how to tie a half hitch, double half hitch, and a square knot.
