Painting foregrounds and wildlife required extreme attention to detail. Small round or liner brushes, careful brush work, and not getting frustrated is the key!
In this video I show you how to paint the foreground of this landscape painting as I finish it up. I show you how I draw the sheep, how I transfer the drawing, how I paint the animal and finally how I complete the painting in oil paint.

Materials used:
Golden fluid acrylics and Liquitex soft body acrylics (titanium white, cad yellow light, quinacridone magenta, phthalo blue, burnt umber)
-Gamblin artist oils with galkyd medium
Stretched canvas
Various brushes I showed throughout the video (artist loft scrumbler, princeton round blender...)
No medium was used for the acrylics
