Pascal's Law (also known as the Principle of Transmission of Fluid-Pressure) states that when a pressure is applied to an enclosed fluid at rest, the pressure is transmitted equally and undiminished in all directions throughout the fluid. This principle is fundamental in understanding the behavior of fluids in static conditions and is widely used in hydraulics.
Mathematically, Pascal's Law is expressed as:

𝑃=F/A

Hydrostatic pressure increases with depth: The deeper you go into a fluid, the higher the pressure.
Pressure is the same at all points at the same depth: According to Pascal's Law, the pressure in a fluid at rest is the same in all directions at any given depth.
Fluid density plays a key role: Denser fluids (like water compared to air) will exert greater pressure at the same depth.
Pascal's Law is the foundation of many hydraulic systems, such as hydraulic presses, brakes, and lifts, where small forces applied at one point can generate large forces elsewhere in the system by transmitting pressure through the fluid.
