This mission is part of Rocket Lab’s Haste Program.

DART AE, created by Hypersonix, is a three-meter-long demonstrator of scramjet technology, designed for single use and built from high-temperature alloys. It runs on hydrogen fuel and features extensive 3D printing, including its patented SPARTAN scramjet engine. The HASTE rocket helps DART AE reach its starting speed safely, enabling it to showcase non-ballistic flight, acceleration, flexible engine burns, and a range of up to 1000 km. During its hypersonic journey, DART AE gathers important flight data.
