In today’s video, we explain OBD-II trouble code P0404, which stands for:
“Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) A Control Circuit Range/Performance.”

❓ What Does Code P0404 Mean?
The EGR system reduces NOx emissions by recirculating exhaust gases back into the engine.
When the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects that the EGR valve position is not within the expected range or not responding correctly, it sets code P0404.

This specifically relates to EGR valve A, which is typically electronically controlled.
