Neurosis - Live at the MARITIME HALL SAN FRANCISCO (4/7/1999)

Описание: I was asked one time what my desert island band might be? Or perhaps the question had been what is the music you wish to hear before you die? Oh wait, the question might have been who is your favorite band on the fucking planet? At any rate, the answer has remained the same, since I first saw the Souls At Zero tour back in Boston - 1992. My life was forever changed! If I'm allowed to answer that first question with 'may I have two bands instead of one?' and this would also include their entire discographies, well then I need to include Popol Vuh! Anyhow, all joking aside, I believe I've made my point!

In a nutshell, a year or so prior to when this show was recorded, I was working for the band through their management company, and was being considered as a stage hand for an upcoming west coast tour. A tour with intent to debut all new songs. New songs that would become known as the Times of Grace and Sovereign albums. I was asked to sit in on one of their rehearsals and if my memory serves me right, this is the set I personally got to hear! I could never truly express to anyone other than my life partner of 30 years, what that day in the Neurosis rehearsal space meant to me...and I'm not about to try!
