Yet another case of alleged love jihad has come to light from Shivamogga.
A man named Javed Khan has been accused of luring a girl to marry him against her parents' wishes. Javed Khan is a resident of Mysuru.
Aravind and Asha Hegde couple and have alleged that their daughter has been married through love jihad. The parents have lodged a complaint in Jayanagar police station in Shivamogga city that their daughthertr Anusha Hegde was married to Javed Khan through love jihad.
Aravind being a exponent in music was settled in Mysuru 13 years ago and Anusha fell in love with Javed while studying engineering. Parents who have gone back to Shivamogga allege that the marriage happended despite their opposition and the Javed was already married twice earlier. They also allege that Anusha was treated as maid servant.
Though the parents took Anusha back to Shivamogga, Javed forcibly took their daughter back to Mysuru. Aravind couple have lodged kidnap complaint, while the police say the Anusha has left with Javed on her won will
