One of the Grumeti Fund’s goals is the rehabilitation of the wildlife population of Grumeti and Ikorongo Game Reserves and associated wildlife management areas. Understanding the number of animals, their distribution, and numerical trends form one of the most basic sets of information necessary for the informed management of a wildlife operation.
The 2022 aerial game count was the 15th time it had been conducted in the Grumeti and Ikorongo game reserve, learn more about the importance of the aerial count.
