Episode 5: Soil Samples & Hay
In this episode, we’re mixing things up with a couple of big jobs on the farm! First, we get out into the fields to take soil samples, checking the condition of the land and planning ahead to improve our yields in the future. Knowing the soil is key to growing better crops, and it’s exciting to start putting that into action.
Then it’s onto the hay! We get busy with the grass work, turning and baling it up into hay that will be a huge help once we bring cattle onto the farm. It’s a lot of work, but seeing the bales stacked and ready makes it all worthwhile.
