Smart Cities Mission is an urban renewal and retrofitting program by the Government of India with a mission to develop 100 cities (the target has been revised to 109 cities) all over the country making them citizen friendly and sustainable.

भारत (India) का वेहतर कल देने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी (Prime minister Narendra Modi) ने स्मार्ट सिटी योजना (Smart City Planning) का शुभारम्भ किया है इस योजना के तहत पहले 100 शहरों को स्मार्ट बनाया जायेगा इन शहरों में हर प्रकार की सुविधा उपलव्ध करायी जाएँगी इस मिशन में सबसे ज्यादा उत्तर प्रदेश से 13 सिटी तमिलनाडु (Tamil Nadu) से 12 महाराष्ट्र (Maharashtra) से 10 और बिहार (Bihar) में 3 स्मार्ट सिटी बनाई जाएँगी
