Chasing Vertical: Can you train for a Yosemite Big Wall in 9 months?

Описание: I was only 18 and had never climbed before in my life, but I looked off the steep side of Half Dome in Yosemite National park, and decided I was going to climb it.
4 years later I quit my job, and got some friends together and got to work.
The training was hard, and I wasn't in the best shape, and it took its toll on my body. I worked through countless injuries and my team and I climbed all over New Zealand. We learned Trad climbing and then flew to America to learn crack climbing.
There were injuries, stolen gear, blister causing heat waves, sleep deprivation, dehydration, starvation, and much much more. And you know what?
I wouldn't have it any other way.
It cost me $20,000 to make this documentary, but I decided to make it free to watch on YouTube because I think the message I want to get across to people is much more important than money, and I didn't want anyone to miss out because of money.

I know I'm the one on the screen in this documentary, but the idea is that you imagine yourself going after your own goals as you watch it. It will never be easy, and maybe you wont make it, but if you don't try you'll never know.
