“I was always an overweight child. I lived for food and couldn’t imagine starting my day without oily, buttery paranthas and chole.
Pretty soon, I started getting bullied at school. Other kids would point fingers at me and call me names. When I would walk down the school corridor, they’d whisper to each other and laugh.

No matter where I went, I felt I was being judged because of my weight.

This went on for many years. I used to feel very bad and tried every single diet I could find on the internet. But eventually, I would give up and go back to bingeing. I felt miserable.

My weight finally tipped the scales at 93 kg. The worst part: I could no longer find clothes that fit me. To make matters worse, it now started affecting my health.

I still remember this time when I went to the mall and couldn’t find a single item of clothing that could fit me. The shopkeeper turned to my mom and said that maybe we should shop in a plus-sized store.

Again, I felt like everyone was laughing at me.

That day, I made my decision: instead of feeling sorry for myself, I would find a solution for my health issues.”
