When I sold this receiver some time ago I made a video to demonstrate how to operate it. I see a lot of videos where people don't reduce the rf gain for the reception of sideband for example. Hopefully of interest to Eddystone collectors and others who may not have seen the 680X model before.
The receiver is beautifully made and enjoyed a long production run of 10 years from December 1951 to 1961 and was well thought of.
