Join the U.S. Department of State for a Google+ Hangout on documenting human rights. The hangout will highlight the innovative work that citizens, community media collectives, and other non-traditional 'reporters' are doing to expose human rights abuse from around the world, as well as how this information is used (i.e. judicial systems).
The discussion will be co-hosted by with organization WITNESS and the participants will be members of civil society, activists, and NGO representatives who focus on the importance of documenting human rights abuses and the increasing role of non-traditional reporting from non-state actors.
