After digitizing and editing , we are making this treasure available to worldwide listeners.

The Association of Performing Arts of India (www.apaiart.org) is a not-for-profit organization, founded in 1998 by Dr.Deenbandhu and Bharti Chokshi along with a few friends to preserve and promote ancient Indian Classical Music and Dance, and to educate the South Florida community, young and old, about Indian music and dance through lecture-demonstrations, classes and concerts. On the one hand, we have succeeded in presenting performances showcasing cultural diversity of the highest artistic integrity and quality, incorporating internationally recognized performers. On the other, we have also showcased very capable dancers, singers and instrumentalists in our own community who have participated in our programs. In the last twenty five years, we have brought events to small, intimate audiences and community outreach programs to sold-out houses , furthering communication with our audience.
