The first timers welcome and the RD briefing are held in the Canalside car park.
It is then a short walk to the start.
At the start, parkrunners are grouped by their expected finishing time.
This is because the path on the course is narrow at the start.

The course is an out and back with a loop around halfway.
The start has a slight upwards incline, but this means the finish is a fast slightly downhill finish.
At the start if the loop you take a left fork and this is where the only hill is. (I would call it a slight upwards incline)
Once the loop has been completed, you return to the path to head back to the finish.
