Wiring a generator with an interlock to existing breaker panel

Описание: In this video I install the wiring into my circuit breaker house panel so that I can quickly and easily connect a portable back up generator service to house in the event of a prolonged power outage. In 2021, Texas lost power for several days costing me over $10,000 in damaged pool, and septic system equipment. Had I completed this project a year earlier I would have been good-to-go and not lost any of the equipment as the anti-freeze equipment would have kept going.

Total cost for everything for this project was under $2000. I will provide a full list as soon as I have everything done. There will be:

Part 1 - Wiring
Part 2 - Placing and Attaching the Generator (to the house and the propane)

Part 2 will include a test fire up and I will update with a link as soon as that is out.
